Superior Surfacing

Pool areas face heat, rain, and heavy foot traffic, so surfaces need materials that hold up and feel comfortable underfoot. Many property owners consider pool deck resurfacing to address fading color, rough texture, or standing water near coping and drains. Projects often begin with a site walk to review substrate condition, expansion joints, and how the deck ties into patios, lanais, or walkways. For older spaces or mismatched repairs, deck resurfacing can unify color and texture while improving traction around curves, steps, and ramps. Designers may recommend border accents or subtle patterns to help with wayfinding and to frame the waterline. In Fort Myers, Florida, installers pay close attention to drainage and shade patterns that change with seasonal storms. Some clients choose rubber decking applied as a TPV overlay to reduce temperature, cushion the surface, and simplify cleaning with a hose and mild soap. Superior Surfacing works with residential homes, HOAs, and commercial pool decks, coordinating access, staging, and protection of surrounding landscaping.
