Samsonite has been revolutionizing luggage since 1910. Founded by Jesse Shwayder in Denver, our journey began when travel was a luxury reserved for a fortunate few. In those early days, we focused on creating robust wooden trunks, ensuring that travellers had reliable and high-quality accessories for their adventures. Over the years, we’ve continued to innovate and set new standards in the industry. In 1962, we introduced the Classic Attaché, the first document case reinforced with magnesium for business professionals. 

The 2000s saw us breaking new ground with our first aluminium product, and in 2008, we unveiled Cosmolite, crafted from the innovative Curv® material, making it our strongest and lightest travel luggage yet. By 2011, we had refined this technology further, creating an even lighter Cosmolite that weighed only 1.8 kg for the Spinner 55 cm. 

In 2013, we developed Advanced Hybrid Technology, featured in our Cordoba Duo and Sahora Regeneration ranges. The following year, we launched Lite-Locked, a collection that combines a lightweight design with our revolutionary Curv® material and a three-point locking system.
