FLATOUTbear is a simple idea, thoughtfully made — a soft, flat teddy crafted from 100% Australian sheepskin that feels comforting from the very first touch. Designed to lie flat with no hard edges, it’s gentle for newborns, familiar in little hands, and just as comforting for grown-ups too.
We’ve been making our bears since 2001. Still family-run and based in Sydney, we focus on what matters — natural materials, careful craftsmanship, and creating something that lasts. Each bear is hand-cut and sewn, giving every piece its own unique character.
Our collection has grown to include baby bears, minis, oversized rugs, muslin essentials, gift sets, and our much-loved sheepskin bunnies. Every piece is breathable, naturally antibacterial, and easy to care for. Before leaving us, each one is checked and brushed by hand.
