Welcome to Runwood Homes. We specialise in high quality care for older people, including those living with dementia and who require general nursing. Your Care in Our Hands
We care for over 5000 residents in the Runwood Homes group, and our employee team is of an even larger number. Each individual team-member receives a comprehensive induction, and ongoing training, to ensure they have the skills and confidence to provide high-quality safe care.
With an estimated 75%-80% of our residents living with dementia, each Runwood home utilises Dementia Champions, hand-picked from within their care home team. It is their responsibility to support, guide and oversee the quality of dementia care provided, as they continue with their daily work. In turn they receive additional training and personal support themselves, to give them the confidence and knowledge they need to lead others.
